100 Years of U.S. Navy Aircraft Carriers
info@faircount.com(813) 675-3800

In 2022, the U.S. Navy will celebrate a century of the aircraft carriers and personnel that have formed the most powerful at-sea platform for force projection and diplomacy that the world has ever seen.

When the aircraft carrier USS Langley (CV 1) was commissioned in March 1922, it marked the birth of a new type of seaborne weapon, one that had much to do with making the U.S. Navy a dominant naval power. From Langley and its humble beginnings as a converted collier, to today’s USS Gerald R Ford (CVN-78) representing the most advanced war-fighting platform in the world, the American aircraft carrier has been the mainstay in executing the U.S. Navy’s mission of defending our nation and its interests around the globe.

Join defense officials, city and state leaders, active-duty personnel, and industry and community leaders for this special evening and what will be an estimated 500 to 800 guests.

Centennial Publication

A dedicated publication will be distributed at the Gala Event, throughout the U.S. Navy, Pentagon, and throughout during the 2022 centennial, including, but not limited to the Virginia International Tattoo, and the NAS Oceana Airshow.

The publication will be produced by Faircount Media Group- Exclusive publisher for USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78), USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77), and USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) commissioning events.
